I have a 2yr old my wife is a ENFP, messy, smothering, Next to zero personal time to myself is driving me INSANE. I don’t want my daughter having ANY of what I deem bad habits from my wife. Which boils down to our personality traits. So it feels like an uphill battle. The thought of the sacrifices I will continue to to have to make raising a child only for her to turn out to be like her mother is making me have sleepless nights 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Did I miss the part about honesty and how we knock our self esteem down a few pegs BECAUSE of our self-examination, Introspection and a willingness to admit our mistakes so that we may improve ourselves and our future attempts? We are not Marble icons with feet of clay. We are humans with deep understanding that includes feeling pain - not just our own, but others. I can be honest and admit that being alone also means limiting the amount of pain I expose myself to.
