This is not the 2025 Model Y...why are you misleading people? This is the same Model Y. The Juniper will be the 2025 Model Y, which looks completely different from what is in this video!! Jeez!
@TheDrivenDaveКүн бұрын
Thanks for watching. This is in fact a 2025 model and is still currently on sale. Car manufacturers often will do a same year refresh of a model. It doesn’t need to be a new year to be a new car. Tesla makes changes constantly mid year to their designs. The video doesn’t hint that it’s the Juniper refresh or anything of that nature. No intention of misleading my viewers on this.
@mckylecfcКүн бұрын
It's a misconception. 2025 MY does exist and are basically the same as the 2024 MY from what I can tell. Juniper aren't out yet, so they just selling MY as 2025 model year for now.

It is NOT a Dodge RAM. Amateur how at its finest. The last Dodge made Ram left the production line FIFTEEN years ago. They have been made in Chrysler plants since 2010. Dodge has had nothing to do with the 4th and 5th Gen . How do you not know this, this is common knowledge ? You are supposed to be an automotive channel .🤣🤣🤣
@TheDrivenDave3 күн бұрын
I appreciate you watching. According to my knowledge it was marketed as a Dodge until 2013 even though Ram separated from dodge in 2010. Chrysler, Dodge, Ram etc are all owned by the same parent company, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Growing up in the 80s and 90s they were always “Dodge Rams”, but I realize things have changed from a branding perspective

Didnt know how to turn back cargo lights on till you showed me. Dvd didnt try. But who cares its outdated. Got plenty of tablets with bigger screens.

I have these in each of our cars - we're in a rural area and our cars have been attacked in the past by mice and rats. They seem to be working, but I can't be sre. I also spray the engine compartments with peppermint oil, and check and wash under the hood regularly. On the Matrix the rats ate through the transmission cable or something. I haven't had any trouble with the battery - that's just some LEDs and insignificant electronics, shouldn't be drawing much power.

Just watched the video today…12/2024. Entirely agree with everything you said about the LS400. Of my 7 cars…I’d drive this everyday if I didn’t care about keeping it as nice as it is. When Lexus was on a mission to get the reputation they’ve achieved.

Have a 2006 Sienna CE with 245kmi, owned since 2010…been an absolute workhorse hauling kids/people daily. Every maintenance done by a local Toyota dealer. Only major repairs done has been a new starter (DIY) and a radiator at 230kmi. Still runs like a top, wouldn’t hesitate to drive cross country. Had the original spark plugs changed at 200kmi and asked the dealer for them, they looked new, no carbon at all. I’m convinced it’s one of the best vehicles ever engineered.
@TheDrivenDaveАй бұрын
That’s incredible! We’re at 157k and I’m wondering if I should do plugs soon. I’m dreading the back 3. 😂 It’s a great rig even after all these years.

Do you miss the Old Man? I've had my well cared for '95 for a little over a year now. She's 30 years old and some parts are very hard to find, but I don't think I could ever part ways with her. So many people have come up to me and said "I still regret ever getting rid of mine, it was the best car I've ever owned". It's 30, but it still feels special to drive and has no squeaks or rattles.
@TheDrivenDaveАй бұрын
Great question! The answer is yes, I do miss the car, but I also realized I wouldn’t have much use for it. I’m driving 3-4k miles per month and that would cost $800-$1,000 per month in gas plus (occasional) repairs. If I had more room for storage, I would keep that car forever. My mechanic once said “you won’t need another car for at least 20 years”. Such a high water mark for Lexus/Toyota design and build quality. That car felt new after 230K miles. I doubt I’ll ever have a car that is made that well again. 😢 The don’t make them like they used to! Thanks for watching
@EmilyTienneАй бұрын
Too snug? It’s a compact, that’s the idea. If you start enlarging the vehicle, you end up with something closer to an early version Camry. There are plenty of vehicles out there for big people. Let’s keep the Corollas and Civics small, economical and fun. You chuckle about Toyota’s “legendary reliability.” Are you laughing because you’re not convinced? Toyotas, especially the Corolla, is unmatched in reliability, low maintenance costs, and this car routinely achieves 200,000-300,000 miles.
@TheDrivenDaveАй бұрын
I agree, but the seat could have more room for larger people. Hyundai and Kia have done a great job of having roomy seats in all their cars. Toyota could do better in this area in my opinion. Larger people still like small cars.
