My dad spent 8 years in japan in his younger days, so he has a foundness for sumo. I tried watching it a few years ago with him, and after gaining that experience mentioned in the video, I fell in love with it. It's been 2 years, and I watch every single basho in every single tournament with my dad. We always talk about it and it is so much fun. Anyone regarding sumo as fat people with diapers is simply a person with zero sense of culture.

Basically Sumo is not only a sport but way of life and if we look into it we’ll know that Sumo is not a joke, it takes a lot of discipline and delicacy and this sport is very fun and very easy to watch. Watching Sumo is literally watching two human tanks crashing into each other, it’s really what a sight to behold and i love it!❤

Sumo isn't as real as you think. If a wrestler doesn't win enough matches he can lose his title (which means lose money and his way of life). So a lot of times wrestlers that have already won enough bouts will intentionally lose so that the other wrestler can win enough matches

Saying they're not fat because of how much they train is misinformed. They are absolutely fat. They eat so much, all the training still isn't enough to prevent putting fat on. They also have tons of muscle, and the fat serves a purpose, but they ARE fat.
