While doing yard or house work I often find pibrochs or pipes and drums tracks to listen to through my earbuds. Cuts out all the road noise and helps me get the work done without to much grumbling (because the neighbours can't hear it)...lol. Although they may think I'm a bit kooky when I whistle along with the pipes. 😁

I got to go to Scotland about 5 years ago. I have not felt the warmth I felt since. My grandfather immigrated from Scotland in the early 1900s. And I have always been drawn to our history. He was of the Clan MacLean of Duart. On my Mom's side was the Clan Armstrong.

In the fifties the Scots Guards were revered in Malaya for having saved us from the brutal Japanese invaders. My father and I used to come out every night to watch the British army rehearse in the fields. That was a long long time ago.
