I was born in the late fall of 1978. When I was four, I sang this song solo at our variety show at the First Chrisitan Church Disciples of Christ Church and in front for the PTA in Kindergarten at my Elementary School in Campbell County, Kentucky. I own both Record Album and CD of The Isish Rovers with this classic recording and song! I Love This Video and I love The Irish Rovers! This brings back Wonderful Childhood Feelings and Memories!

George's many years in Vancouver, Canada come through in his accent. The Irish Rovers had a TV show on the CBC, from 1971-1977. I was very little then, and I loved that show, especially the Leprechauns segments that used the then-new chromakey technology. George played the Twerp, the youngest of the three leprechauns. Several episodes of the show, and compilations of the Leprechauns segments are on KZbin. They're well wirth watching.

I heard this song at work today. I'd never heard it before but could make out that it was "Christmas in Killarney." I could identify with it too because I've been to Killarney before.

Dear Friends from Ireland, this Song is magic. Lyrics now are in my memory. I know the words! [ Its not easy when you are Polish : ) and I Am .) ] I asked my Son to ask You for words of NO END IN SIGHT. You gave it to him. He send it to me. I have no any sensitive idea why Irish Music talking to my heart stronger than any other but It does. Never mind. Let it,s roll with no End. Bard

My playground as a youngster and few know of the amazing cave below. There was small well-hidden crawl-through entrance about halfway down the south side. The cave was large enough for boats to enter from the ocean side. There were legends that the Vikings sailed into the cave. I hear that the land entrance has been deliberately collapsed.

I'm confused about the pronunciation. With a c in there should it not be pronounced "dun look? Since gaelge has no k in it's alphabet, I thought all Cs were hard like a k.

A long time ago 1986 it was expo Vancouver….the Irish rovers had a pub in there….great food….and of all things the first cash machines were located between them and the Munic fest house. Needle to,say once I figured out the machines it was a party all night visiting both venues! This and meeting people from countries that I had never heard of, places that I had never been to….TrueType epic experience. One that will last my lifetime fondly….
