How far downstream is the big 11 foot drop known as graduation falls? Is it closer to Rio Vista Park?

Somebody was doing field studies. Do you know what they were looking for?
@Dillweedapplepie
@Dillweedapplepie 4 жыл бұрын
I do not know what they were looking for exactly. I do know this area is studied frequently and there are many species that only live in the spring. The lake is also protected and not public access. I believe you have to have a research dive certification or some type of training before you are allowed to dive in the spring (I was able to access it as a part of my diving certification class) This area is also a part of Texas State University and i'm sure the college is always doing some type of field study in the spring.

What type of camera are you using?
@Dillweedapplepie

I just used a GoPro pretty sure it was a Hero 3. Now for all my underwater videos I use a Sony a6000 with a water proof case.

Good night. I just looked up the rules and regulations for being able to enter this spring fed lake and I am at a loss for words. It seems anything that is beautiful and naturally organic in this country has been sold and purchased to the same tyrants that run our Government. I get that they want this place to remain pristine and void of garbage and vandalism, but somebody is making a damn good bit of money off of the guise of conservation. This spring fed, pristine lake needs to be looked after and there should be certain rules and regulations to protect it so others can enjoy its beauty for many years to come. Unfortunately, certain individuals have teamed up with government officials and executed a plan to make money on the backs of "hard working, law abiding, God fearing families that want to enjoy there home. This is disgusting and this is why our Country is going down hill, faster than any of us have seen our whole life. I look at it like this, this lake will be there to help feed and nourish and hydrate those that survive the breakdown of our Country that is already well on its way, yet most people have no clue. We all live in a physical prison with flesh suits. The reason this is a prison, is because we are spirit beings, angels, exactly what our Lord and King Christ Jesus told us twice in the Bible, yet we will die like men and fall like one of the princes. God bless

A Spring Lake is owned by the state and to dive in it you have to go through a program. I was able to dive there for the SCUBA class at Texas State. Here is the link to their website. www.meadowscenter.txstate.edu/ExploreSpringLake.html
