Nice car. And how well it responds on the road....👍👍👍👍👍👍

Bro! You know all the stuff you were showing in the car could have been done while it was parked in your parking lot or driveway! Were you watching the road during that segment? But yeah, cool car!

My aunt had a 54 Plymouth "Savoy" like this car. Needless to say, it just had a flat head six, but I do remember that massive heater control though!

How many times did you stop to refill the tank with fuel? I ask out of curiosity.
@rickmccarthy347411 күн бұрын
@@abrahamcosworth2632 dont recall really, we enjoyed the scenery though. Years later I had a 72 Lincoln Mark Iv that ran on high octane ! that was a bit different lol

That's a Marquis Brogham.The last year of the full size was 1978. This car is gorgeous, and in mint condition. The one option you're missing is a moonroof.

What difference between the regular and Brougham 🤷♂️ the vinyl top?

Nice car , i wish i had it. First thing i would change is that glass fuel filter even if it is hiding behind that support. One rock and the glass pops and gas flying everywhere and red hot played with the car exhaust and then you really have a hot car, but not the good kind.

You commented about the am radio. It may be OK and you didn't let the tube warm up. It is NOT instant on like today's radios. After turning the radio "ON" You have to wait awhile. Have & show some patience.

Possibly one of the fuglyest cars ever produced. Who's the genius operating the camera? How about a shot out the window?

The flathead six engine in this car was first designed in 1938 and used in Chrysler Corp. cars including Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth from 1939 to 1959. We commonly call it "the boat anchor" because of the 1950s shift into V8 engines which were more popular than fuel economy then.
@TheDejael2 ай бұрын
First all-new postwar DeSoto was not much in terms of modern design, more of a 1940s design. Designed by Bill Robinson of Briggs Auto Body Company of Chicago for Chrysler Corp. in Detroit, Michigan but car was built in their Los Angeles facility.
