Don't judge a movie by its trailer! The trailer, by the way, is flawless. I think you want to like the movie, you're just worried you might be disappointed. However, I believe you will like it once you see it. Trust Barry Jenkins! I didn't like that they aren't brothers either, but they will make it fit excellently with the original story. After all, the best friends are often more like brothers than blood siblings, so Scar's betrayal is still a tragedy. Perhaps if they were brothers in a pride, it wouldn't have as much adventure, and they decided to change that. Anyway, Scar as the villain died because of his evil actions, while Mufasa was a wonderful king who loved everyone. The characters themselves proved what they are, it's not just my opinion. Who can justify a killer? Anyway, will you make us a video with your impressions and comments when you see the movie to explain your reasons? 😺

I don't know guys, but i have a sensation that disney is unconciously making us love the villains more! Plus, it seems like no one is talking about Gal. I mean: i think ( it's my personal opinion, if you have other opinions i respect it, i'm not that kind of person that "throws mud" to others) she will literally steal the show. I secretly hope she will turn up as Margot Robbie having back pains after carring alone the Suicide Squad 2016 movie. Plus: i remember reading somewhere that both Rachel and the people working in the set told that Gal Gadot looked REALLY intimidating! Having said that, I would never allow myself to insult. Then the film has yet to come out, then we'll see. I'd be curious to know what you think. Ps forgive me for my English, it is not my native language ❤

Eggman never controlled Shadow. Shadow tricked him into thinking he was serving him, and was secretly using him for his own personal gain. That's one of the reasons he's so dangerous. He manipulated the manipulator. The one who was really behind Shadow's revenge quest was Gerald Robotnik, Eggman's grandfather, because of Maria (who was Gerald's granddaughter) being unjustly killed and both Gerald and Shadow wanting revenge. All of this was in "Sonic Adventure 2" which is one of the inspirations for this movie. So if you missed that game, that's no doubt why things are so confusing. The other inspiration is of course, Shadow the Hedgehog's solo game. Though the movies are clearly doing something of their own, and just borrowing some things. Because this is a different universe, technically! One of the big things they are changing is the fact that Gerald is alive, which I find very confusing. But I'm excited to see what they do with it. And yes, Shadow IS stronger than Knuckles. He's the "Ultimate LIfeform" for a reason! It takes a LOT to stop Shadow, usually by talking some sense into him, and not through physical means.

Ohh okay this makes sense! But to be honest, is Shadow stronger than Knuckles or more powerful, cos I do think there's a difference between the 2. Although obviously no matter what Knuckles does he can't beat Shadow anyway 🤷♀️ And even though he is the ultimate lifeform, Sonic can and I believe has beaten Shadow before 🤔

9:24 Both shadow and sonic attain their super forms at the same time in order to battle the biolizard and stop Space Colony Ark from falling onto earth in Sonic Adventure 2. Also sorry for all the comments 😅 i grew up with all these games. If you dont want to be spoiled, dont play Sonic Adventure 2.

7:28 shadow is as strong as knuckle. You can see it in the Shadow the Hedgehog game from 05'. He is also nearly indestructible. Bullets dont pierce him

Yeah we did play Shadow the Hedgehog, it seems there also taking a few features from that game and putting it in the movie like him riding the motorcycle. They probably won't give him the 2 pistols though 🤔 But didn't it come out that Shadow the Hedgehog isn't cannon, so it was retconned? Surely Shadow can't be as strong as Knuckles. We've always known Knuckles to be the strongest out of both Sonic and Shadow, as shown in many tv shows and movies at least like Sonic X for example, although I'm sure that show was not made cannon either 😅🤦♀️

@pattentime I'm pretty sure it's canon, especially since it's Outcome affects Sonic 06 as well as the new Sonic x Shadow Generations games that's coming out. No definitely no blam blams in this movie, I don't think they'll ever do that again. It's just not family friendly enough and honestly as much as I loved that game growing up, it didn't need weapons

7:05 Shadow does not need an emerald to teleport. He can tap into the chaos force without one, but having an emerald amplifies his power. In many sonic games, he can telepoet without one, but his range is limited. He also can't travel through time without one, potentially more depending, as you can see in Sonic '06.

Ohhh okay, clearly we didn't know that 😅 I think they've made Shadow look so good in this trailer, it's hard to imagine Sonic standing a chance from what we've seen in the 2 movies before 🤦♀️ I mean he was good, but I feel only really when he became Super Sonic!

@pattentime technically Shadow is more powerful than Sonic. Really any of the other characters, since he was created to be that way. But Sonic has enough experience and his own skill to at least keep him at a standstill, but I don't think Sonic has ever really beaten Shadow in a 1v1 without Shadow either deciding to move on or them coming to an agreement

he’s just a hunter so he he wants a challenge. spiderman is just his biggest challenge. i think in the comics he teams up with the sinister 6 but other then that he’s kind of a villain of heroes and villains. great reaction by the way

This is what happens when someone watches something with the sole purpose to hate on it , it literally says in the beginning who taka is, y’all didn’t get it cos from the onset y’all already want to hate the trailer , mufasa was the adopted cub into scar’s (Taka) family . This movie would show the actual animosity between mufasa and scar , we get to see why scar hates mufasa and wanted him dead

@ozee7404 Fair enough that's how you feel. To be honest, yes we didn't really care about this movie because the first live action was a flop in our eyes. Also, we didn't think this story was necessary because it deviates from the original trilogy and once again, Disney decided to go back in time as they do and most of the time the movie turns out to be a flop 🤦♀️🫡 As for exploring why they hate each other, the original animated lion king movie already explained that Scar hated Mufasa because he was jealous/envious and wanted the throne. He went after Simba to kill him because he knew he would never become king as long as he was alive 🤔 Simba also explained in lion king 2 that Scar could not let go of his hate and it destroyed him. This new story is something else entirely, taking a completely different angle to what the original already explained.

@@pattentime the original animated movie just shows that scar was jealous , this new story shows a deeper reason as to why he was , if it flops it’s probably going to be coz it’s live action , the emotions would seem weird watching life action lions instead of actual 2D animation, as far the story … you wouldn’t enjoy it if you don’t even give it a chance , I’m pretty sure you’ll watch it , you’ll most likely hate it if you watch it hating it before the movie begins , there’s nothing wrong with a plot twist sometimes

As a Snow White fan myself, I'm not looking forward to this live action version at all. Personally, I think it's going to suck. I'll most likely see it whenever it comes to Disney+, more out of curiosity than anything. Honestly, it makes me sad, because Snow White was my beloved grandma's favorite and I just don't think or feel that this live action version is going to do the original animated version justice. I really wish that Disney would have just left this one alone and let it remain the classic that it is, but as far as I'm concerned the animated version will always be my favorite and the classic that it is.
