Everything in this video shows a good ride. I think people are hard on the Speed simply cause they expected more. More than a Turbo S challenger. And honestly dont blame them. Theres a very huge market right now for someone to design a real car without a belt. But this turbo twin will do everything easily with fun and you can tell its not bad by the video. Sometimes it depends on what you've owned. I own every mfr's car. I still, unfortunately, prefer the Polaris. And theres lots of room for improvement imo. But nice car, you'll enjoy it!
@macgarage91617 күн бұрын
Exactly! The way I look at it is the more competition the better each cars is going to get. Now we now have a car with a 2L engine. Hopefully we get a car with a 2L without a belt

@macgarage91621 күн бұрын
40-50mph up olds isn’t bad and I also have the speed key coming. Show me a 30k car that can do better in both the desert and dunes. It’s pretty nice not having to put a roll cage and gusset kit on this car like a canam

@RaceMentally21 күн бұрын
@ I had a built 1000 that looks like it performed the same. Don’t get me wrong they’re great for hard pack but in the dunes you better up the hp. If they had another 30-50hp they’d be a lot better.

Yea I got a 4x2x.220” plexiglass and cut it with a jig saw. It works great! If you’re in the phx location I can give you a template to cut it out. You also want to do a rear windshield

Your hydraulic power steering didn’t seem to have the unwanted feedback that I’ve got on my bandit. Did you do anything to help with that? Thanks
@macgarage91621 күн бұрын
So when I first got my car it had a little feedback. Then a shop refilled my power steering reservoir full and I had really bad feedback where it wanted to rip it out of your hands. I then took fluid back out of the reservoir so there’s about an inch or 2 from being completely full and it got 1000 times better! I highly suggest trying this. Also you can try bleeding the system if you haven’t already.

Drain and replace with better fluid also.

good content, hope to see more of your stuff! what rear paddles and how many paddles you running? We SPEED customers need to get the word out- these cars are good. -Andy #3455 Bandit
@macgarage91621 күн бұрын
I appreciate that Andy! I’m running 32”x12” sandcraft destroyers 12 paddle and then SS360 32”x10” on the front (I really like having the extra traction from these) I think these Speeds would thrive on 35” paddles to be honest! Im hoping to try someone’s 35”s out some sometime. You’re spot on man! I’m trying to share my experience with the speed so everyone car stop crap talking so much. I’m pumped you are enjoying your bandit. I was very impressed with how the bandits did out in the dunes
