Hoe duur is een elektrisch takeltje? Wat doet die andere gast behalve fotootjes maken? 35 jaar als bronsgieter gewerkt maar dit slaat alles

Please! Use a tapered sprue and a decent pouring basin. And buy a copy of John Campbell's Complete Casting Handbook. Oh, and multiple gates off a downward moving stream like this never works... Martin

So much entrained air. I'm pretty certain that you'd need a tapered sprue to keep the sprue full and to prevent it from sucking air. You might also want to consider a ceramic filter to slow the metal down. I'd also say that a single gate into the bottom of the mold would be better and that gate should be perpendicular and above a runner off of the sprue. Thanks for showing what can happen in a system like this. Nothing like a good visual aid like this to see what is actually happening inside the mold.

Wow, that's a lot of jetting, turbulence, and air bubbles.

Can you tell me why you dont get that sink hole on the right side and it only happens on the left? I assume since your pouring on the right it would be hotter, should shrink more on that side? Maybe something you are doing to isolate shrink on one side? I am very curious, thank you for your help.
