I mean Samsung has been using the same god damn traffic light design since 2021 I believe and tbf it's not a good looking design anymore. When Huawei was still able to run google, Samsung and Apple used to innovate more cuz competition.

love my pixel 8 Pro though I do really miss my 4XL. It had so many cool features that made it stand out as a pixel. I loved the design and feel. I had the pixel 2XL and the 6 pro when they were released and I wasn't too keen on either. The 8 pro is definitely where it should be on that list.

You'd have to include various planetary disasters, pandemics, wars and other setbacks - if there is a singularity, it won't be available to everyone, no matter how inclusive it gets - there'll always be some that reject the dominant paradigm. This scenario completely leaves out the cussedness of things and the vagaries of human nature, otherwise called Murphy's Law.

Hypothetical question: Would these virtual AIs with the same, if not better, intelligence, consciousness, and self-awarenesses know that they were artificial. The assumed answer would be yes, obviously, they have the same level of intelligence and consciousness as an average human. So they would know that they in fact are artificial. So this theoretically debunks whether or not we are in a simulation ourselves right now as I type this, right? That's point number one. Point (or question #2) would be: Are we okay as a species to allow this to take place. Real conscious beings essentially trapped in a simulation. What if some of them developed to the point that they were legitimately unhappy in this simulation we've constructed for them, and wanted to live in the real world. Would we have a means to extract them?

It is blatantly obvious that in every example shown of the abilties of these AI and technology we are seeing replacement of human labor and the human income derived from it, and we are running as fast as we can to see this amazing new world replace us and in the end rule us. So one day we can sit in our efficiency apartments with our government supplied Income Allotment and hope we can afford the basic goods and services the corporate AI make for us.
