What rig would you recommended turning the pre tied into? Obviously nothing using a whipping knot at the hook

Without a doubt a Ronnie (spinner) or slip D, this allows you to change the hook when needed and carry on catching many fish on the same Zebedee pre- tied. Geoff 😀

For me ..."be sure your rig is dry" is the killer.... Packing up in the rain and drying a spring...to try and prevent it from failing in the future isn't the best. A 316 stainless steel spring will prevent any corrosion.

hi, thanks for your comment :) the reason for drying it is not to stop it failing, it is to stop the cardboard packaging getting wet and ruined 😁 it can be done after your session and will just keep your Zebedee in good shape for your next session. as for a stainless steel spring, not fish or wildlife safe, most decent lake owners would not allow that to be fished. tight lines.
