I have a 130 New Yorker coil boiler for my two story house. And because of the house being an old log house it is like Geothermal. So with me I only use not quite 3 ton of hard coal a year. If I take the aquastat above 110 degrees it will be like 80 in here. I live in southwestern Pennsylvania. I very seldom have to raise the Aquastat above 130 degrees.

Nice. As I mentioned in the CPF PM, it reminds me a great deal of our homestead on the mountain.

I put a used New Yorker boiler in my 2 story home,, and I heat with hard coal. My house is a one pipe system with part of the house with no basement. I try to keep the temperature at 73 degrees. Depending on the weather I don't usually take the aquastat above 125 degrees. On days where it is in the 30's and 40's,, I usually have it set at 100 or a little less degrees.. The aquastat tells the blower to kick on to heat the coal. This year I am going to eliminate aquastat and hook the blower up to a direct thermostat. My house heats so well that I don't use anymore then three tons of chestnut coal a year. I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania

Mine is due to be delivered today. I am so excited! I have never had a hot tub. However, I am a little hesitant to set mine at 104. I am not a scientist, but last I heard, 100 F is boiling water.

Just purchased one yesterday same color picking it up in a couple days. Do you have any info on the max tire size with the stock arms? Thanks!
@jboutdoors70194 жыл бұрын
Depending on how the actual tire measures out, I think you could fit a 30” on it.

It’s been great, just went on a 80 mile trail ride today, the tires aren’t the best, there great in mud, and that’s about it, other than the tires, the thing is a beast!

Andrew Seamans I used to heat 2400 sqft plus my dhw with anthracite coal, it did struggle when it was -5F or colder if everything called for heat.
