I wish I had known the things you all are talking about when I was a young woman. I would have chosen a far better husband and consequently a far better father for my children. I was not raised Catholic but wanted very badly to be one, so I thought all I needed in a husband was for him to be Catholic. I should have looked for many other characteristics in him. I like kwasniewski. But I keep hearing this tosh about how the Ordinariate Mass is an upgraded Novus Ordo. Its a mix of the Tridentine and Sarum Rite, while also maintaining some of the liturgical directives of the newer form of the Mass. The Sarum rite has in fact, as far English Catholicism is concerned, deeper roots than the Tridentine rite. People forget that the Tridentine Mass ITSELF is a hybrid Mass historically. Prior to its promulgation Europe was chock full of various rites. The Tridentine Mass was an attempt to clean house and centralize the Churchs worship in the face of the Protestant revolt.

In Germany they always have Eucharistic processions on Corpus Christi. In the late 90s this was the case in the Novus Ordo parishes. Maybe the American parishes forgot this practice and have now rediscovered it.
