Remember playing this when it was released on my aging pc, run quite smoothly considering alk the grapuical goodies. I remeber quite vividky not being that excited about it at first from the previews and trailers and then I played through it in one sitting and I was over the moon with the whole game, incredible experience, I definitely miss these kind of games nowadays its all about soulless open world that are empty these days. I loved the game so much i even got the pretty collectors edition, still is sitting on my top shelf after almost 20 years.

I remember playing this the first time in 2010 and a couple times after. Always waited for a sequel and wanted to learn more about that alien race the protagonist allied with. And then, for a brief moment, there was hope when the sequel was announced by Bethesda. But Domasi did not make it into the final game of 2017.

Just finished the game in 2023. I never played the game as a kid, but was always interested in it here and there. I finally got the chance to play through it, and absolutely loved it. At first I was worried the game was just gonna be yet another idtech engine tech-demo, but No way, man. This game has an amazing story, atmosphere, soundtrack, and writing. I loved the characters, they were so compelling. I was also really happy to be able to play a game based around native-american culture, I feel like that kind of thing is just Extremely uncommon in games, and she be done more. Loved this game, glad I got finally was able to enjoy it ♥

Even though we may never have a Prey 2, it continues in how we remember it. Despite there being other awesome story games around, this one is so special that to me it knows no equal. Thomas, the annoying dinosaur enemies, that awesome energy weapon, portals, Xhen (I know), the overall vibe and drive of the game, and finally the ending song. The game SCREAMS mid 2000s and I love it! I wouldn't want a Prey 2 if it wasn't this touching. Even though I'd love to see Thomas save the world again.

Might have to reinstall give it a 2023 run. Included it doing 2000s fps runs which were Doom 3 , Doom 3 ROE, Quake 4, Prey then Wolfenstein 2009. (?? i think..) Now theres way more after.

I believe there exists a widescreen patch and an HD texture pack. Not sure about sounds. Still, I don't think it's bad at all in how it looks and sounds. But then again I mostly play older games so I wouldn't notice the sound and visual difference.

Prey’s end game credits is so epic to hear with the after midnight project’s original version of take me home. I do enjoy playing the original prey because it lets me focus on the story with its puzzles & has art bell himself. What a masterpiece prey is & a awesome shooter that I played.

This was an amazing game, the 360 was awesome when it came out so many new unique titles. I bought another one just to play Prey, Quake 4 and NFSMW since they never made them backwards comp.
