we do this every year, all farms I have worked on do the same. there's a lot of factors involved in growing crops, the only issue with the trimming is if you cut them too short. sorry for your difficulties <3

@@fairweatherfarmer Andrew, thank-you! Actually, I could use a bit of guidance on how to smoothly shift gears, both PTO lever and the gear-shift lever. The fellow who delivered my BCS 749 tractor had a hard time getting both of the shifting levers into gear, so I was left with a question mark as to how to go about it....I haven't used the tractor yet, but have been watching videos on KZbin trying to learn how to use this great machine! I would be most grateful to you and your Dad for any suggestions that you may offer! I live in Canada, too---in BC!
@fairweatherfarmer3 ай бұрын
@@user-ql3sn6ou7u hey Judy, most welcome! to shift gears it's like a manual car, you need to use the clutch to disengage the engine then use the lever to go from 1 to 4. I don't recommend ever running it faster than speed 2 to move it, even that is very fast. on 4 you are basically sprinting with it and can hurt yourself by falling. to engage or disengage your PTO simply use the push lever with the gear symbol, always be careful to operate the machine safely and keep your feet far away from any implements (wear steel toe boots also). PTO is very dangerous and causes many accidents. both of those actions use a black knobbed lever. I use speed 1 for working and speed 2 for transport of machinery. you will want to adjust the height of the arms when lifting the machine to move it to make it easier, then raise the arms back up when you operate. it is very heavy. I hope you don't have too much trouble, this machine is very hard on the body. we only use it at this point inside our greenhouse cause it isn't efficient and wears out the farmer. but is useful to maneuver in tight spaces.

Even make barter with locals for my veggies. Giod times in a terrible democracy. Society gone to chit. Wise to know how to grow. Thanks for show how to grow. I'm learn alot from the vids.

Hi. I`m Yeajun from Jangseeder. We appreciate you to promote our products through this video. We are contacting you because we are developing for JP-6EV(BatterySeeder of JP-6), How do you think of this? We know that customers are heavy when planting seeds with JP-6. We would like to ask you for advice. If you are interested in this, please reply. Thank you.

You're most welcome Yeanjun! I love Jang seeders, wouldn't go with another brand. I have tried Earthway and it doesn't come close to comparison of the ease of use and results. For us the JP-6 works well, not sure what the advantages of an electric battery powered vesion would be?
