Got to hand it to Rouse what a legend. Fact his independent outfit would outperform the Ford Works Team is remarkable. Just shows what an incredible engineer he is, preparing his own cars & many others. Incredible talent & multi task guy, company director, engineer, boss & driver how on earth did he do it.

If M Sport had given him a better car, he would've won the Championship that year.

it's honestly kind of shameful seeing what our predecessors here did, there's being brave and there's being downright idiotic, and this is the latter. Glad that by the time of my generation this attitude had gone away, rally cars aren't bulls, don't go thinking you'll evade them at the last second, stay in safe spots and enjoy the cars dance by from a distance where you can actually appreciate it.

It is a beautiful feeling to see and to hear the old Kitcar grenades again, after so many years. 😍 Even the Renault Mégane Maxi of Raphael Sperrer at my home rally, on the legendary Hollenbach-stage. 🤩 Nowadays, the sound feeling and atmosphere with the Rally4 cars is very much spoiled by the use of turbochargers. These are very terrible to hear, indeed. 😐 And there are only two or three car brands at maximum which can be seen. 😟 I think that there are a lot of things going wrong with rallying at the moment. A little of this can be offset by the fact that old cars are still allowed in many rallies.

This was not in 1993, it was in 1995. Yoshio Fujimoto was the driver, and he went on to win the rally.

Mouais.
