Par excellence I am a native raised in Canada* But a good batch of scot blood Was my father They say in Scotland "Your as good as blood" I spent time on the family farm Near dumfries And learned all the ol trades of the farm And ways on the hills As good as blood they say And again Par excellence to you Tapwe from afar my fellow scot You know what they say About us Scots? Where we bleed... We're there

Nice pipe sound David . What brand are you using. This sound is close too what I hear in parks near by. I’m interested in playing come spring time.

Bravo! Beautiful music! Is scottish small pipes scale played the same as Great Highland Bagpipes scale?

Such a wonderful sounding set of pipes… well played/phrased… lovely! I’m considering a set of bellows… was the transition a challenge for you? Please keep sharing your talent! 😊👍

No doubt staying in shape on such a complicated instrument has kept his brain young! Plus, to be this good, he has to be practicing quite a bit; the pumping is good for his arms! GOALS.

This is terrific - I really enjoyed it, and it took me over the isles and far away. Who made your smallpipes if I can ask - as they actually look to be border pipes as well, given that there are two tenors? Long-lasting piper here myself

Thanks for your comment! My smallpipes were made by John Rutzen in Donegal.
