Yes, it would be. But some folks can't tolerate retinoids daily and some folks don't believe in using retinoids daily.

If that's IOPE, does this mean you're dipping a toe into k-beauty? If so, some other k-beauty retinals you might want to check out are Beauty of Joseon (it's an eye serum but it can be used on the entire face), K-Secret Seoul 1988 Retinal 2% + Black Ginseng, Scinic Cicanoid, etc. Some by Mi has one (w/fragrance). Odile Monod's channel is a good one for info on the k-beauty industry and products that maybe Western channels don't cover.

I have fair Scandinavian, like skin with extreme darkness and very thinning under my eyes. I have used EltaMD rosacea sunscreen with zinc and moisturizer for for years. It doesn’t flare up my rosacea, and I can tolerate it under my eyes. The white cast soaks in within about a minute.

I know this wasn’t a topic discussed on the video, but to start off I respect and value your work as a dermatologist. I am all about making sure my skin is nice and soft, but not just facial skin. Why do I bring that up? Well, so it happens a few weeks ago that I had a discussion with one of my friends who is going to college right now. She is struggling with dry skin, but it isn’t on her face. I know that as a dermatologist, the struggle is real. no matter what shoes you choose to wear to your office or even if you do online content, you probably are up all day, consulting with patients who have skin barriers and other skin problems. I may not understand the struggle, but there are plenty of Durhams on KZbin that can attest to long days of seeing patients and wanting to relax and suit their skin. Specifically, my friend happens to be struggling with dry heels, because she puts on lotion, but it doesn’t seem to be helping her. I recommended her to watch your videos, and she asked me to ask you if you could do a video discussing the best solution for a hard skin on the feet and the heels that probably isn’t lotion. Even something as simple as a review of the brand kerasal, and how that brand has helped you personally, or maybe some suggestions that perhaps I can give her. One thing is for sure, though, she doesn’t have eczema, but simply dry skin. I would really appreciate it, and I’m sure other people besides my friend who have a similar struggle could appreciate a video that could probably help them.

Minoxidil is very dangerous to cats and dogs - even a small amount can kill them. I will go the rosemary route and not endanger my pets.

I have to say, ive been taking her advice on my skin care routine for a couple of months now, after years of a gazillion dollars wasted, and i can say it works. No pimples, my face is smooth and have lost a lot of pigmented areas assume due to sun exposure... in my country, dermatologists arent great... or the cosmetic places... one time one of the girls said she had no training and she was an accountant im like wow..

I had a facial 1 year ago and got these itchy bumps on my forehead. I’ve had acne before so know acne well. I KNEW this was not regular bumps. I went to three derma and they said it was just dry skin. Nothing is wrong. I know I got something from the lady who did my facial. This has helped me more than any info those 3 dermatologists gave me. Thank you for this info as this year has been horrible due to this fungal acne.

Two questions. I heard that retinol creams can cause problems for those with dry eye issues? Is this true? Can any of the retinol creams be used on the upper eye (below the brow, not the actual lid)?
