Wishing all the clarinets luck on pulling off that solo, I am going through the same endeavor myself.

We are learning this at my high school! I am so excited to play it. It is such an amazing and funky piece. And its a song where the tuba can actually be heard, which is a big part for me! Personally the best piece that ive learned.

Oh my word that is the best I have ever heard it played! I okayed this in school, but this band was magnificent.

I don’t mean to be a downer on this group, but this is collegiate and it should be quite a bit better considering they probably spent a number of weeks rehearsing it. Check out this high school group that rehearsed it for 15 hours. They even play it at tempo. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWewn5mVoJhoq9U

What is this boldness for? Endurable woods but shameful metals. Work on attacks, intonation and rythm.

Trumpets! You had ONE JOB ~ to hit the notes in the middle of the performance when you all moved about to be higlighted! Such a disappointment. Even if you hit the rest of the notes, you can't take back the missed first chord. A pretty decent performance overall.

I believe on the directors score it should’ve been an oboe solo, followed by a bassoon solo (which was correct at the performance), and then a tuba solo

As a non orchestral musician it is still funny to me to see a person playing a single cymbal.

If you are interested in such things, you might want to fix your opening credits. Both "universal" and "judgment" are spelled incorrectly. This is a very good performance and it makes a poor first impression.

Judgement with the first "E" is acceptable in English-speaking countries.

I have played this before in a band that dedicated it to a former director. Your version is well done and captures the heart of the arrangement.

Not JOHN Williams, this is by J. CLIFTON WILLIAMS Jr. (26 March 1923 Traskwood, Arkansas - 12 February 1976 Miami, Florida). Symphonic Suite won the American Bandmasters Association's Ostwald Award for original band literature in 1957. You could look it up.

Talented musicians. Not so talented otherwise. You've misspelled the name of the piece. It's a Conga. Not a Congo.
