Easy; you drive up to Salida, rent everything you need, and jump in the river. I just did that this last weekend, and I had a blast! Give it a shot!

There was a time when there was no walkway to Almond Bay it was hard to get to the beach but once you got there you could be the only person there for hours❤

Thanks for the comment! We are glad you enjoyed the video! We recommend to use Colombian pesos. This will be your safest option and it will be much easier to negotiate with the locals.

Great video. Providencia is on my personal list. Another island on my list that seems to be similar is Big Corn Island, Nicaraqua -- also known as Great Corn Island (there's also a Little Corn Island). Check it out if you don't already know about it,

It's a fast paced 24 hours but you can see some of the most beautiful places in that time. We would have loved to stay a few more days if we had the time.
