One thing I always noticed about Levante's (I don't know if design has changed since I rode them) is that, when going at speed, they would rattle as the air buffeted the coach and would come in through the door. The drivers always said they preferred the Scania Irzairs rather than the Caetano Levante's (although the Aberystwyth Coach didn't use a Scania chassis)

It a standard (manual) transmission! Useless in today’s world, everything is Auto even semi trucks, would have made a great motor home only it’s a stick change!

Actually, it's a 12 speed ZF AS Tronic automated manual transmission. You can drive it as a full automatic or go up and down the gears driving it as a semi-auto, hence the gearshift. In my opinion, the finest and most satisfying PSV autos around.

Looks good, 380,000 miles is nothing for that engine, treated with respect it will do a million without problem. Nice paint job on the outside tyres too!.

The seat arrangements could have been a 2+2 configuration...so that it could have been spacious for the customers to access their seat...

When you have 2+3 it is good for things like school contracts as you can fit two (size dependent) buses of school children onto one bus. The trick is to get the seat where there is some extra leg room...
