This was excellent. I was given two books by my ex daughter in law for christmas, both by Cartier Bresson which I loved. I also wanted to buy a book called Gray The Mountain Sends by Bryan Schumaat. Sadly even if I could afford the asking prices of £400.00+, which I could never, the book is like gold dust, I presume all in collector's hands. Nice to see you again Sophia.

Don’t you feel that the Lifeguard shots were a bit of a rip-off of the Bechers’ work?
@SophiaCarey2 күн бұрын
Definitely see a resemblance! Also to Wes Anderson’s work, in colour palette as well. Guess it proves the saying that no art is truly original! Still a lovely body of work regardless.

I just got my first RZ67 - the Pro II. Looking forward to using it. I don't have the 110mm lens yet, that will need to wait. If you see an old guy wandering around Manchester with a huge block of RZ67 hanging off his neck, that'll likely be me. Happy New Year Sophia.

@@SophiaCarey I have the 127mm F/3.5K/L (RB lens) and the 180mm F/4.5 W-N. Would like a 50mm too as I want to use it for landscape work but that'll have to wait. Wishing you a successful and creative 2025. Personally, I'm just looking to stay vertical for two thirds of every day 😁
@SophiaCarey6 күн бұрын

Pretty cool video Sophia 😊(will check out your other content) When you mentioned Glasgow is hilly, that hill you showed appears in the Tom Hank’s / Halle berry movie ‘Cloud Atlas’ it was a Stand-in for 1970s San Fran. Some useless movie trivia there lol

Edita não, vc usa presets
@SophiaCarey7 күн бұрын
I use presets that I’ve created over the years, from years of editing in different lighting set ups across different venues, and then make appropriate adjustments. Creating and using my own presets is essential in being able to turn around live edits quickly for my clients whilst maintaining my individual style.

with a camera of this format you will have a shorter minimum shutter speed to avoid camera shake than for a 35mm SLR so if you're shooting 1/30th minimum it should be instead 1/60th
