How did this adorable breed come to be? How to breed huskies in that tiny size? Did they cross it with a mini poodle?

What I dont get is why on earth they can't make silent fireworks..surely it can't be that difficult?

How do they fare with loud noises? I had 2 dogs but both were afraid of loud noises. I used adaptil and a "den" which only did help a bit. It breaks my heart when i see them cower in fear like that.

seems like since they need to freeze having 2-4 of them is a good plan, correct? meals, tiring them out, brain activity, training, 1-2 in freezer, etc

Played this over the past 2 days for my mini dachshund while playing with him and giving him treats. Was scared at first at a low volume but now he’s totally fine with it at full volume on a jbl boombox 3. This works

i'm taking car of a Klee Kai for a week now and its the nicest, friendliest dog i ever came across. it's a girl at 24.5lbs = perfect size imo. she never barks or howls when inside and looks 100% like a mini Husky...nothing like Spitz what i've seen a lot too and don't like at all personally!

We have an AKK, she’s the best. She is larger than most at 32 pounds, and she has retractable claws. Great companion dog, not overly talkative, timid around kids.

Any tips for a 4 month old that will sit then pull in a different direction?

This is EXACTLY what I needed, thank you! I'm using this because our new puppy got under the gate and ran away on his first fireworks night and was scared and alone out in the dark until a neighbour found him 😢 (thanking my lucky stars for our neighbours), so he's a bit scared of the outdoors at night now as well as the sound. I'll play at low volume on our morning walks and work our way up until I can play loudly on a night time walk. I hope I can achieve this by Canada Day!
