Hi, I have bought this table, but haven't come around to handling the assembly. Thank you for the video - I am sure I am going to be viewing it multiple times when I do it. It looks like you were a single person assembling it. How long did it take you to finish it?

I sure hope it helps you assemble it. Yes, I assembled it by myself but with videoing it too took a little longer than usual. probably 2-3 hours.

This is exactly what happened to me last night. I thought I was the only one who did this 😂. In my machine, I dont have a sticker. I just have to pull the hand wheel out. Took me about three or four hours to figure out the whole thing. I still have some thread stuck inside the chain and fan. Lesson learned never will i ever leave any spools of thread anywhere near again. 😂 Thanks for your video!

I just acquired a very similar machine. Mine says The Eldridge v I think, but through some research I found mine may be a national vindex 1 or 2. It’s been Really hard to date
@teresadesign Жыл бұрын
Hi Blake Congratulations on acquiring your new machine. I’ve had a lot of success researching through this website. I added mine recently to show and tell and several have informed me with valuable information. Here’s the site: www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/313974-national-united-states-treadle-with-vibr Actually that’s link to my machine but the site is collectorsweekly.com Hope this site helps. Also ismacs.net has information on the Eldridge. Mine is a vindex 2. The greist case of accessories that was with machine has couple accessories that have patent pending date of 1908 so I’m assuming my machine might be from that time period also.

Hope everything goes well. I’m still enjoying mine. My husband looked at the drawer glides that came with it but there’s no way to upgrade them to full extension slides currently. That’s the only thing I wish was different is the drawer not coming out very far. Be careful with the small short screws they strip out very easily.
