This game's training mode is kinda oldish so there aren't shiny features like that. However, I did recall that the BBCF Improvement Mod has some kind of addition like that. I could be misremembering, but it might be worth checking out if you're on PC. Otherwise, I used to use the record mashing a DP while doling a button to tech with the dummy.

microdashes are in the notations iirc so you wouldn't have to guess anyways

@@SuperBKBrent Forgive me if I'm missing something, but I checked the whole video and there doesn't appear to be any indication of microdashes in your notation or in your notes on the right-hand side. Also, showing the button inputs makes it easier for people to know the timing of the input since there can be a big difference between one dl.X versus another dl.X. Again, I want to say that I find these videos very helpful, but I do have to do some extra work to figure out where your microdashes or other undocumented inputs might be if I'm trying to figure out why I'm dropping these combos.

"Checked the whole video" and missed 412366C ggs. I recall now that I left out basic microdash notations because I thought it was easy enough to just see on them happening on the screen.

@@SuperBKBrent I did see the 412366C note but I didn't identify that as a microdash since if you were do that input as-is in-game a flame dome wouldn't come out. I could understand something like a 6641236C (microdash before) or a 41236C66 (microdash after). I would probably consider myself more of a beginner player, but even after having done a couple Izanami combos with microdashes in them, I generally can't visually tell they're happening without the input display. I have memorized a couple by heart such as needing to microdash after something like a 236A in order to combo a flame dome in a later part of the combo, but if I suspect I need to microdash somewhere in order to make a later part of the combo not drop (usually from flame dome) I have to trial-and-error in every possible spot in a combo to see where the microdash goes. So I apologize if it's hard for me to identify that as a beginner, and once again, I still find a lot of value in watching your videos so thanks for putting them together.

I sounded a bit curt there, sorry about that. To see if a char is doing a microdash, usually you can see the normal gliding forward which typically doesn't happen unless there's a micro. But a bigger giveaway for microdashing, is that the character gets a very specific dust cloud behind them during the attack which comes from run startup. This is universal among all characters with a run too. This effect specifically, is what I'm referring to when I say a micro dash should be easy enough to spot.

Right before the 3C hits, I input 29D then piano the jC near immediately. Right after that, you have to microdash the ball on landing with 412366[C] to make them bounce on it twice. This combo is one of Izanami's benchmark execution tests, make sure you can do it while facing the other direction as well. I had to boot up the game again just to try to explain what my hands are doing because I just do this with muscle memory now lol

no, the ball gets reversed.

At that range you have to go for a baby combo like 5CC 214A or 3C ender. If you got the meter, 3C> Crush Trigger will work at ranges where 6A will whiff, and you can pick that up fairly easily.
