I have a memory of childhood (mid 1970's) being at my papaw's house for a cookout. Back in WW 2 he was a welder in the military, working on battleships. After getting out of the military he took up Christ, and a hobby of working on old cars and trucks. I remember walking through the junkyard beside his house and seeing vehicles from the 1940's, 50's and 60's. I can still "smell" the leather seats and consoles, and all the wasps that were in the cars. He drove an old wrecker truck that sort of reminds me of the truck displayed in this video. I miss my papaw :(

Stupid isn't it? Why modify a 150c scooter when you can get a 250 for 150 USD more. It reminds me on the time when I was 14 and modified my Vespa Piagio 50cc. Before modification it run 35 mph. 250 USD later it run 36 mph. BTW, a TaoTao 150cc scooter makes stock speed 65-70 mph depending on the driver and load. If it does it not with a driver load not more than 180 lbs, you have a warranty case. Bring it back.

Chinese scooters are notorious or inaccurate speedometers.....My 150 VIP indicates 70 MPH when GPS says 50

Strange, because I have a (2016, bone stock, Tao Motors PMX150, and I can hit between 64 and 71 mph on a flat road running basic 93 octane USA gas. I'll film it as soon as my new camera shows up this week.

I have a Tao Tao 2017 150cc and i weight 182 and my scooter with me on it 68 and that's on NO hills here in Houston, Texas but i'm am going to put some mods on my 150cc Tao tao that's for sure good video .
