Yoda would’ve defeated Anakin, but Obi-Wan would’ve easily died to Emperor. They honestly should’ve just killed Anakin and cut off the emperor’s head.

Best chance Obi-Wan had of winning was the fact that Sidious seriously underestimated Obi-Wan and didn't take hom seriously as a threat until after he beat Anakin. So that could lead to his death at Obi-Wan's hands, though still a long shot. Unless Obi-Wan has the high ground, then he wins automatically.

My head cannon has always been the better choice was to switch, but not for fighting reasons. Yoda could have redeemed Anakin with wisdom while Obi was the very WORST person try to talk him down.

The main question would be if obi wan can hold out long enough and if yoda can kill anakin quick enough for yoda and obi wan to 2v1 palps. Palpatine stands no chance against the both of them

@@zeussierraalex I am trying to imagine the pacing of the film. Lets say Yoda whoops Anakin in a few minutes, it would probably take him a few hours to make it back to coruscant, Obi-Wan probably wouldn't survive this long. They should have went together to stop Palps and then confronted Anakin after Palps was dead.

@@johncarter5016 I like your idea as well. I hadn’t thought about how long it would take to travel from Mustafar to Coruscant. Perhaps hyperspace would make for a shorter trip? I’m not familiar with how far the two planets are from one another
