I normally chat on my own around Dartmoor, but a car show with people around is way out of my comfort zone...having said that Rustival is way better to chat on camera than a shopping centre LOL

I know that's not Whiteland Restorations Volvo But The start of this video was take 2 as a guy in a WR hoody walked in shot and the Volvo was the first car I spotted as I re took the shot.

Nice film Tim. I think that cross marks the tomb/grave of the man who got lost on the Moor some hundreds of years ago. The story is, that the weather was so bad that he killed and gutted his horse and crawled inside in an attempt to survive. Didn't work unfortunately. Amazing, the history from such a remote place.

I know it's quite a rough grass runway on Lundy. Wonder what will happen to that biplane. Try and repair, make it flyable, break it up, or just leave it there to rot?

when you say a mine to abbotsham cliffs is there another end (abbotsham end) to the mine or dose the mine just end under abbotsham that dose not petrude the cliff edge??
@TurboTimsWorldАй бұрын
No what I say it would be possible, there's a second video old ford house (that's ford the river not a capri) but this was one of my videos that I spent a lot of time to back story study,I had a story that there was a tunnel from Old Ford house (there's 2 old ford house one on the river bank Torrington road the other above it was a Zoo) so the info I came across was there was a smugglers tunnel from abbotsham to Biddeford, now Im not 100% sure BUT the bideblack from a coal map I found runs from east the water to abbotsham, The Blacksmith's pub under the railway, and wooder sugary opposite next to the Chinese run the other way but also news paper clips of old ford cottage show tunnels and the bideblack from there runs to abbotsham cliffs , If you go to Abbasham Cliffs you can see the Biddeblack in the cliffs on the beach and I do this in my old ford video. Thanks for watching and commenting, there are 2 ford houses in Bideford and one was a Zoo and having been down here 12 years now working with locals I'm building a story on the zoo. Thanks from TurboTim

What lovely place stuck out in the middle of nowhere all on it's lonesome. Very atmospheric in the morning mist, but I expect the views are lovely when the weather is clear.

It's surprising you don't need a lot of tools to do it but a super deep 12mm socket or 12 mm crows foot would make it very slightly easier.

look into biddy black/paint mines you might find your answer..
@TurboTimsWorldАй бұрын
I did a follow up video on Ford Cottage where I said it was the Biddy black mines, I found a coal seam map that showed Biddy Black from Mines lane (wonder where it got its name) but from behind Tesco's all the way to Abbotsham cliffs. Since then I have also found out about mines behind the blacksmiths pub under the railway. I will need to do another follow up video from the extra info I have. Thanks for the comment and add info you have .

Middle of nowhere and you still managed to end up in a pub, Tim 🙄🤷♂️ The "fairy circle" was neat, but the size of that compound is quite impressive, enough room for stock and living, but fairly secure and defendable, you appreciate these things more with the drone footage, proper job, as the locals would say 👍
@TurboTimsWorld2 ай бұрын
Proper Job yes please that's my pint (like the Fishermans friends) That pub is FULLY off grid, it has a diesel generator for all its power and oil and gas are trucked in water is farmed in and waste goes through tanks to the river (same system as me) the only thing is you can always hear the generator running !
