With the personal chef career you could add the chef to the family and just lock the doors, leave only the kitchen and the chef's room accessable to her/him This way you don't need For Rent. You can do it base game. There are also mods where you can make individual bank accounts

The wedding venues are so beautiful. I just can't imagine Sims understanding how to do what they're supposed to do, at the correct time. Wish you could just get it to go full autonomy
