Artistically, a significant departure from her previous programs, and dare I say, a major improvement as well. Sadly, she was way out of shape to fully showcase the potential of her new routines.

I love this pair! Palamarchuk is just as enjoyable to watch as Obertas. Pretty simple program but I still think they deserved somewhat higher marks for such strong basics and carriage.

It's interesting to see Berezhnaya and Sikharulidze do the dreamy skating, knowing that they are co-Gold medalists with Sale and Pelletier. And now, Ekaterina is married to David Pelletier. Gordeeva and Grinkov brought so much happiness to skating fans. I only hope that she has found happiness again. Sergei would want her to be happy.
