Overall the sound is beautiful, but those fast passages look really tricky, well done!

Wonderful performance Florent! I admire your very relaxed sensitivity, your soft, yet full and natural tone on the lute - and the way you bring out the melody in such a challenging piece as this Dowland is. Bravo!!!

Merci pour ton message ! Ce n'est pas le même luth, bien qu'un modèle très proche, du même luthier. C'est un instrument que j'ai longtemps joué, pas le plus puissant qui soit, mais j'apprécie aussi beaucoup le son qu'il a, très intime. Il me semble assez différent de celui que j'ai joué aux journées du luth.

Très belle musique, sans doute assez virtuose et pas facile à jouer. Bravo pour l'interprétation, les nuances et la sensibilité. Dommage que la prise de son manque de présence et de chaleur.

Merci pour votre commentaire! En effet, la prise de son a été réalisée en studio avec, d'après ce que j'ai compris, un matériel qui n'a pas toutes les qualités requises pour ce type d'enregistrement.
