The one thing that always bugged me as a kid (and now still) was when we would go back home, was the entitled and ungrateful behavior of the adults. My parents never called them out on their disgusting behavior. The overweight suitcases was full of stuff for the people back home, and it was never enough for them. The countless times we were greeted not with a "hello, glad to see you, how was your flight" but "when are you leaving and what did you bring me". Which is always followed up with a disappointed "is that all you brought me?" All this on top of parents reimbursing them for the gas, food and whatever else it cost to house us three during the family trip. (Vacation is not even the right word for it) Let's not forget the all year round begging in either collect phone calls and monthly letters. smdh Yet when these same entitled relatives come up to visit us, they come with their two long arms. Back in the day, make long distance calls in the middle of the day, at the full rate without using basic manners to ask my parents' permission. A couple of them even extended stay and I'm pretty sure they didn't consult my parents first or kick in for the expense, like we do for them. Because of all that as a teen I promised myself if I ever go to visit, I'm staying in a hotel or resort. Rant over.

Me have a friend that her cousin ask her.if she can.come for one month because she gets her visa and she my friend ok but just for one month the first week the woman come there was trouble in my friend house the night we pick her up the first things out of her mouth was some bad words out of her mouth me come fe stay .my friend said to her but you said one month she said she just want to put her foot.in foreign she not going back to Jamaica..my friend ask her how much money she come with she said.$500.canidaian.my friend said said you can only stay with me for the month.you ask for and if you here how this woman behave with my friend said to.my friend write a paper to say only one month she can stay if not she can't come to her house and she sign it but after that it.was hell.in my friend house she walk around almost nacked around the house and when she or her husband talk to her she cuss them out and and call family's in Jamaica telling them how her cousin was treating

It is true when some Jamaican travel to AMERICA AND CANADA and don't help do anything. I had to work as soon as I arrived in Canada. I had to stand in cold in the winterss. Yes!
