Really curious if the second place that Latin Saints took their first tournament in 2022 setup that group of guys for failure. Last year diesel was a middle of the pack team and this year they’re a bottom of the pack team. They haven’t come close to having the success that they did in their initial tournament together.

Great podcast as usual, I was so excited for Diesel when they made all the moves to compete at the highest level, but the way that things have gone - I’m so upset it’s best I don’t say anything

The professionalism to not call your coach back and officially let him go shows the issues with the organization. It’s interesting that Baines is able to control some of the same personalities that are on AC but once they leave they can’t be controlled. In all reality I hope NYX has a great tournament and AC gets relegated because it would be a huge waste of money for that to happen and it would make the paintball troll posts amazing

Absolutely love the content but giggle when I hear professional players/coaches complain about the pro refs. Then imagine what would be said if divisionals/pro refs were swapped for an event.

Just base the fantasy league on how draft kings or other sports betting apps. They don’t force you to buy actual cards to play fantasy each week. Seems like it would be hard to gain traction this way v how a company like draft kings and others do it…….maybe I’m missing the point….i get it helps the players make some money but……

Had ramps to run up and down. Most of us played at the indoor in Richmond bc those dudes blasted 70s and 80s arcade metal. Cops used to train there so the maze was way bigger. Also it was Richmond, so there was lots of weed.

Why is paintball trying to be like every other sport? Instead of doubling down on what makes paintball, paintball. Gimmicks and outdated plans on trying to “return to tv”. No one watches tv except irrelevant old people.

The NFT/fantasy crossover does sound kinda cool and it’s an idea I’ve never heard before so I can appreciate it but I’m not sure how popular a pay2win microtransaction fantasy league is going to do. I think maybe having a normal fantasy platform that you and your friends can create leagues would be more successful. I think from that platform you could have a setting where everyone can put money into the pot on the platform and it gets dispersed to the winner and fantasy paintball can take a small percentage of the winnings. That and dollar bets (betting on each point of a match) are two ideas that have been really overlooked imo that would crush it on an online platform.

NFTs are and have always been a scam. I'm disappointed that Tom and the league are peddling this NFT crap
