Hi there , I was wondering if you could help me out. Im fourteen and I play guitar for about 2 years and I am giong to buy my first eletric guitar , I dont have much money so I was gonna buy a squier bullet strat but then I came across with a Squier Standard Tele ( used but loking really good ) with a fender mustang 1 amp all for 260 € and thats exatly the same amount of money I was going to spend on a bullet and the amp that came with it .... so wich one should I buy? Thanks

Wow those old Squiers look pretty thick and solid, sound good too. I have a recent one that I really like but it is much slimmer than my Fender. Nice riffing!

So if i called the dealer they could get me a standard with a maple fretboard? I'm not even sure if i am going to get one because ATM im saving up for a new half-stack. I will probably just get the affinity and put some money into it to change the PU's, pickguard, pots, tuners, and bridge. i will keep you in touch.

how much did it cost you to do the upgrade?

thats the same problem im having,the standard is a better guitar then the entry level affinity,but i love the look of that lighter maple neck,the next level up from the standard is the vintage modified that has maple necks but cost much more..so you cant win,so ill probably by a standard tele new and then a standard strat with the maple neck for the same price new or a mexican fender strat from a pawn shop for half the money new

Should i get The standard squier tele or the affinity. i like the maple neck on the affinity over the standard but i dont know.

i just tried one at a local shop today,i was impressed with the sweet sound and it feels great,,,i might have to buy one,plus its 400.00 cheaper then the mim tele i played with,

oh well its been like that for years since i was 10 or so the cars a family airloom so i donno,,, but yah the rallye with the power bulge hoood thats it!!!! i was wondering how many of them came with a 340

73 charger its never had a problem with over heating ive even had the fan off of it....yah my pwr brake dont work very well at low rpm either

sweet the 340 in mine is a numbers matching engine,,, its .060 11:1 i need an ignition no nos for me... you say you have a hemi cam huh???

your not going to sell that thing ne time soon are you, have you ever done ne work to the motor? and i like the way the hood looks when your driveing it

NRS is a cross country frame and reign or even trance frames are much better as a platform for enduro riding; that said I think there are very few bikes out there which would compete with NRS for efficiency and looks :) You guessed it, I have NRS too, and love it. fitted it with psylo sl, xt gears, chain, sprocket,disc brakes etc. and try to stay true to it's original function - cross country - where it shines.
