To anyone watching now, Iron hammers require a tier 2 hammer to make so you cant make them with the normal wooden hammer, just make a copper hammer first which only requires a tier 1 hammer and then with the copper hammer you can make an iron hammer.

Oh, really? But is the reverse not true, too? It'll apply a higher roll (if you roll that) to everything? Thanks for the tips, though. I didn't know that!
@ChrisMarissael
@ChrisMarissael 2 ай бұрын
Yes, it would also apply a higher roll, but it's a 20% chance to give more for each level. I don't remember how the math shakes out, but I think fortune 3 rolls once for each level, so it has a better chance to apply no bonus, or a small bonus, than it has to apply the full bonus. Therefore, going for the average will give the best chance for the best overall yield.@@Snedglow

I don't really have anything "solid," per say. Just: Go down to ancient debris level (15, I think?) and just slowly start scanning around. If the scanner picks anything up, it'll appear as orange.

Then, at the end, you'll need to use the Forge Hammer found in the Tetra structures. Espero que o Google traduza isso bem, então sinto muito antecipadamente! Você precisará fazer um segundo martelo. Hey you figured it out :) The aerial interface needs to be powered to work. Charging modules don't transfer energy to the block they are pointing at but rather in/out of contents or interfaces of the block (for example air canisters in a chest). PNC:R villagers are so OP they let you skip half the progression (making PCBs etc)... Good you found them :) Do you plan to setup an aerial interface for wireless charging of your armor? You might need it if you're gonna travel non stop for a long time unless you want to make frequent stops to recharge. Just one thing I'd suggest if you plan on having chunk loaded compressor for air supply, don't rely on security upgrades to release over pressure, it's a waste of fuel. Instead build a simple redstone circuit to stop the compressor at 19 bar and use coal instead of coal blocks for less waste and avoid over pressure (they burn shorter and won't bring you over 20 bar with shutoff switch at 19).
@johalun
@johalun 3 ай бұрын
Oh and I forgot the most important. Never use the vortex tube to cool machines (many new players does this mistake). You're spending a lot of energy to cool down the compressor (like powering a battery charger with the battery you're charging). Instead if you stick with 4 or less speed upgrades totally passive cooling with heat pipe and heat sinks is usually sufficient. I usually have heat pipes on 2 sides of the compressor with heat sinks on them, or you can just try slapping heat sinks on all free sides of the compressor.
@Snedglow
@Snedglow 3 ай бұрын
I was planning on setting one up, yes! But I don't exactly know how, yet lol. I need to toy around with it a bit more. Those are some good tips! It'll have to be chunckloaded, since it's going to hold the "directional loader" and the Aerial Interface. I'll play around with that, too, and get it working! I'll also switch to the coal instead of the blocks!
@Snedglow
@Snedglow 3 ай бұрын

@@Snedglow Yeah maybe the book could be more clear about that? For active cooling of machines there are the air grates which I use on Jangro's server in the town area's pressure room.
