These machines are all 'fixed" to deal out 4 to a royal during play to have you think a real royal is coming. If you sit and play in the poker room-how many '4 to a royal" do you ever get dealt? Probably Zero. I never got a royal playing hand dealt poker. I got dealt 4 to royal 3X though playing Caribbean Stud Poker (dont play that it's a house advantage game) but didnt get the royal.. close.

The 10K dealt royal would takeaway from the frequency or payout of the other hits in some fashion. Id skip that machine at all costs given the 650,000:1 chance. Nice hit, obv.

You were being punished for your annoying commentary. "I just need the <insert card here>." maybe you should lower your needs. Note that the only times you hit it were the times you didn't whine for a specific card.

There was a game like this except instead of the dealt royal option there was a progressive payout for a royal flush in sequence. I don’t know which odds are worse but a dealt royal flush is about 650000 to 1.

NEVER ever ever play a video poker "jacks or better" game that only gives you 1:1 for 2 pair. You'll lose your money pretty fast on those.

Curious as to how giving the IRS 24 percent of every quad you hit makes sense. Obviously you subtract your losses against those but if you lower your denom to 2 bucks you eliminate that issue and make an extra 24 percent with every quad.

Nice session and return. I noticed when you had the two 2's you got the 42's without the kicker, but had the ace in the original hand and the 2 2's came as the first two cards. Based on the odds, we are not supposed to hold that Ace kicker right?

Was playing loose Deuces the other night and 3 deuces came up in a hand for 5 of a kind, I took a chance and dropped the two 7's and the 4th deuce popped up for 625 dollars, I was excited!! Gambling is what it is, taking a gamble.

well if u get dealt 4, and throw away the other card.. your odds are 1 in 47(amount of cards left) so if you only miss 9 out of 10 times, you're pretty lucky!

Nope, it's a very common 8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe. Most places will have 8/6 or 9/5 simply without the dealt royal bonus.

That’s not true. My mom doesn’t gamble anymore. Basically she’s too old, but my parents used to go to Vegas all the time and she only played slots and video poker. She would alternate the two. On pretty much every trip she hit a Royal. She didn’t play for big money, but it doesn’t matter. The odds should be the same.

@@AC-wl7ve Let me correct myself. My mom always played deuces wild poker. She played quarters and bet 5 credits. Now that I’ve looked at the pay table I see that a Wild Royal Flush pays jack squat. At this point it’s been so long that I honestly can’t remember if she was just hitting a bunch of Wild Royals or if she actually did hit some naturals every now and then. I don’t know. I’m not going to spend too much time thinking about thinking about it.
