Danke für das tolle Video. Hab es genutzt um meinen kaputten Draht auszutauschen. Allerdings sind nach über drei Jahren meine beiden Unterteile durch und ich frage mich, wo du die Unterteile als Ersatzteile herbekommen hast Sonjawildhorse? Ich Google mir schon einen Wolf ... Magst du mir das verraten?

Biscaya2000 die Futterrationen sind ja aufgeteilt. Du hast z.B. ein Pferd, das insgesamt 2,4 kg Hafer am Tag bekommt. Mit dem Futterdosierer bekommt es 24 mal 0,1kg Hafer, anstatt 2 mal am Tag 1,2 kg. Wenn du dich mit Pferden auskennst, sollte dir bekannt sein, dass es gesünder ist, wenn die Kraftfutterration in viele kleine Portionen aufgeteilt wird

OMG manche haben aber auch wirklich immer etwas zu meckern, oder? Wenn du dich schon über soetwas harmloses aufregst, würde ich gerne mal deine Reaktion zu dem sehen, was gerade in China passiert, wo Millionen von Tieren beim lebendigem Leib und bei vollem Bewusstsein die Haut und Felle abgezogen werden, nachdem die Tiere auf qualvollste Weise sterben nur um sie anschließend als Mantel zu verkaufen. Drama Prinzessin. Die Pferde in diesem Lauf-Stall haben es um einiges besser, als die meisten Tiere und sogar Menschen, die auf diesem Planeten auf unmenschliche Weise versklavt, gedemütigt, ausgenutzt und gequält werden.

How I admire German/Austrian ingenuity. I wish more was offered, in a book or DVD format (and in English), to aid those of us who would like to set-up a similar form of horse keeping. There is an auto feeder available here in the states that could be used for this form of feeding. We have two separate groups to keep, six small ponies and three Haflingers. Bei meinem Pflegepferd ist es eigentlich ziemlich toll, weil die Besitzer nur drei Pferde haben. Es ist natürlich nicht in dem Ausmaß, wie in großen Aktivställen, also keine Futterautomaten und so, aber die Pferde haben viele Rundgänge auch durch Wald und Berg hoch und runter. Sie sind viel entspannter, selbstsicherer und zufriedener. Und haben immer genug Bewegung. Aber ich kann dich gut verstehen, ich stelle es mir in großen Ställen auch eher schwierig vor.

Vor allem, wie wird das wohl von der Zeit her verteilt.

Stereotopy, the repetition of a single behaviour, is caused by stress and boredom. The constant weaving by this horse is a prime example of an animal that is spending the majority of its time in a small enclosure. This horse wouldnt exhibit such behaviours if it was allowed more freedom and mental stimulation. Its basically so bored and/or stressed, that doing this, is better than doing nothing. These behaviours dont just pop up over night, takes a while before such things are see.

Very sad to see. An animal driven mad by poor husbandary and care. Sadly, all too common.

Do you know for a fact that this horses behavior is caused because he is in a stall (not a cage)? I agree that stalls are not the best place for horses but you have no idea if he is normally kept in a large pasture and just stalled for the fair and not happy about. Don't jump to conclusions:)
