One of my favorite places on the planet. The land cut is fantastic as well as 9 mile adjacent to it!

Haynie is a great boat, but it’s worst enemy is it has wood in it . Haynie will have to go to fully composite boats are they will slowly die off…

Caught my first trout in the land cut in the 90s. 21 inches. Been hooked on saltwater fishing since then

I never fish offshore. What type of snapper were those. I’ve caught a couple of red and lane snapper fishing the edge of the channel here in Tx. Just curious.

Grew up in Corpus and spent a significant amount of my childhood in the upper Laguna and landcut. My father was a guide from the 80s-2000s; we had a cabin at first, then a floating houseboat we used to take multi-day fishing and duck hunting trips from. Great video, takes me back!

Great video! I was thought by a guide when I was little to tie a loop not that I use all of the time and never had it slip once. So thankful for that knowledge

Man I understand everyone should have a shot of catching a fish. Do you have to show them the best spots in Texas. Lol

Awesome Episode Ed! It was great meeting you guys on the St Lucie this past Friday. Don't know if you guys had any success after we separated, but I finally did after a couple more hours of grinding away in various cuts east of the overpasses. I ended up catching my PB Snook of 34" ! And it was a chunk too. Got her on my light tackle and only 25 lb, leader using a Slam Shady Mulligan Swim Bait. Fortunately It was hooked in the corner of the mouth! I have pics posted on salt Strong if you want a peek. Now for that elusive Tarpon!! Someday! Hope to see you again soon..
