Amigo, se oye bien pa crashesote. Aguantaría que tuviera más definición en campana para ocuparlo de ride principal. 🙌🏻
@palesama Жыл бұрын
Es un buen ride. Medio pesado lo cual le ayuda a ser un poco crasheable, tiene un buen wash ride y buena definición. Gracias. Saludos.

Are those the stock heads on the dw 20 inch, and what batter head was on the tama? Thanks

I used the original DW batter head as resonant head for both DW's bass drums 20 and 24 with a port hole installed. And the original Tama 22 resonant head. Thanks for asking and watching. 👍

PAZ e LUZ Tulio

The pure alloys aren’t labeled traditional medium pure alloy rides. Just the byzance traditional medium ride and plain old pure alloy. U should do a review on the 22 inch byzance traditional medium rides. Those are kinda in between a pure alloy and the extra dry or dark series. Great versatile all around ride. Much prefer the traditional medium ride compared to the pure alloys. But the extra dry medium 22 inch ride and sand ride 22 inch are my two favorite rides ever but they don’t cut through for a metal setting so I switch from the 22 inch traditional medium byzance ride to the 21 inch serpents ride which has the loudest clear but dark bell and the stick definition is off the charts and I picked out a lighter weighted one so it has some good crashability. The crashability on the traditional medium byzance ride is my favorite tho.
@palesama7 жыл бұрын
Andy Ham thanks for watching, the comment and the suggestion, I'll try to do that. By the way, I found them that way at Memphis, both.
@andyham60947 жыл бұрын
Nice video although the sand ride is far from a brilliant finish or brilliant sounding cymbal. The sandblasting dries the cymbal out a ton and even tho it’s not as dry as an extra dry ride it’s still a dry cymbal.

MayburyMayhem Hi. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Personally I like the vintage pure's bell and the stick definition of the extra dry vintage. They could complete each other.

I'm loving the Byzance line! Thinking of switching over from my Zildjian A customs. These rides sound great!
@palesama7 жыл бұрын
I did indeed. It takes time to get used to the darkness, dryness, earthy sound, complexity, that trashy sound and crashability apart from stick control in comparison to the brightness, volume and brilliance of the A´s, I don´t regret at all. I just kept some K´s for Zildjian´s respect. Thanks for commenting and watching the video. Best regards.

If your want crappy sound as this it ain't rocket science with specific heads. Go out and buy a cheap Gammon kit, then randomly mis-torque all the tension rods.

@palesama8 жыл бұрын
Put on your headphones, that might help :-D I can tell you that the transition is more crasheable and the bell is louder, its stick definition is a bit brighter than the K, I might say that the transition is a bit more versatile. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@yvindness70468 жыл бұрын
Thanks for a good answer. I believe I did watch with headphones, but your answer kind of helped me decide. I believe I will go for the transition :)
@palesama8 жыл бұрын
I´m sure you won´t regret, just in case you are looking for a dryer sound with more stick definition and kind of jazzy, the K is the option.
