It was originally made by a black American mocking radical Afrocentrists within the black community. But then some white people took it and made it a racist meme used to mock and deny and form of African historical achievment or cultural pride. The debate mainly centres around Ancient Egypt connection with the rest of Africa, and the race of the ancient Egyptians.
