Sprockets and chain didn't need to be changed. You over tightened the new chain, that's not good

At 7:06 I see a screwdriver poking and scratching around at the camshaft pillow and it's at this point that the real pros pull out a hammer and start whacking the shot outta it and eventually stick a screwdriver in there and start prying and really fudge it up. Thanks for showing us your pro technique but I was taught to read as much as possible in the service manuals before starting to wrench on something that I didn't design or engineer.ive been learning for 58 years and these videos are entertaining but do not try these shenanigans on your neighbors machines.😂😂😂

Your a dumecoff. That wasn't seized beyond rust seized. Pouring Marvel Mystery Oil in the spark plugs hole and letting it sit for 2 days would have been all it needed.

Thanks for the vid, it's given me some confidence to have a go. My 92 xt225 is pissing petrol from the carb and tapping the bowl has not stopped it. How do I tension the tensioner after re-installing the carb?

Amazing job! You took that 50 year old bike, took it apart without fear and managed to do some specialized work all over that bike. Great job

The oil filter should be the metal mesh you didn't put back, it increases the amou t of oil. The paper one make decreases it......overhead problems soon....
