All good stuff but if you’re using Alko wheel locks you need to make sure they are lined up first before you finalise the position of your van. At least with the lock n level you can raise one wheel off the ground so that you can spin it to fit the second lock if you intend to use both. Our tow bar has a dedicated metal loop to engaging the beak away cable but if you don’t have one your method seems to be standard procedure.

As for filling the toilet waste tank with Blue/Green Fluid. use the cap off the toilet waste tank as a measure, instead of just guessing how much to put in. I've been caravanning since I was a child. where the toilet was just a bucket with a seat on it. no plumbed water, hot water=boil a kettle, no electric, gas lights and battery torches for lighting. No fridge, just a cold box- with freezer blocks, then asked the site owner to freeze the blocks for you. Now have all the mod-cons of a modern caravan, hot/cold running water/shower, fridge-freezer/fixed island bed- so no making up the bed each night. EHU even off grid with a silent solar generator and panels staying on £10 per night CL sites. Using re-fillable gas bottles, so I can just top them up as and when needed, has been as little as £3 to top up/through to £14/15 for empty bottle (far cheaper in the long run, as I have recouped the cost of buying the bottles). saves the worry or guesswork when is the gas bottle going to run out. Think about basic no frills CL sites without EHU At £10 a night= £70 a week with no extras for Adults/kids Etc, means more holidays. Or in many cases these days, £25-£45+ per night (£175- £315+ with added extras on top per week). And on many sites now with EHU on a meter to pay extra for these days. equals less holidays

I've used the "Lock & Level" for my caravan for 3 years on all sorts of ground (from hard to extremely soft). Easy to clean. There is a line in the centre where the bottom of the wheel should be, If on Alco chassis side. line that up as well. go forward or reverse to line up. lock wheel with Alco lock if required, inflate until Caravan is level. they are not cheap, far easier to level caravan, less messing around going backward & forwards on blocks/ramps. IT saves a lot of space and weight. no blocks/ramps Etc.
