I miss down-to-earth Clinton. He’s still an amazing trainer and businessman. But he’s gotten harder rather than keeping his kindness and respect sadly. Not worth the money but boy I’m grateful for what he’s created.

Yes. Sad No horse should become food. Just because heartless owners throw them away. After years of giving pleasure, & service to mankind. Being a faithful partner. Loyalty isn't a word among too many horse owners.

It's easy, cheating. Giving horse's illegal drug's. Pletcher has 6 pending illegal drug violations. HISA should do their job. Stop smacking these cheaters on the hand. Ban them for life.

Saddlebred horses are known for their sweet people pleasing personalities. They are very smart too. I had one who found out how to lift gates off of their hinges. He was half Saddlebred and half Arabian and stood 17.3 hands. He was a great jumper, trail horse and my brother used to hunt off of him. He had a super sweet personality and kids could feel safe riding him. These horses make great family horses.

Poignant moment when statements from Ms. Kayne about being around a long time were made, as well as him wanting 2 be remembered 4 caring about his runners , and wanting to win the Triple Crown ; I never viewed him as a villain when EMPIRE MAKER won the Belmont to deny Funny Cide his place in history ; I was happy 4 him ; ironically it was the foot problems that may have cost that colt an opportunity to sweep the series himself ; Great trainer ; u have 2 be when an owner names a horse after you ; Nice interview

Although I absolutely LOVE what you guys are doing, it strikes me that you don't seem to know much about "gaited" saddlebreds (as in 3-Gaited and 5-Gaited). I say this because your "snickerdoodlerack" or whatever the heck you called it is called a "slowgait" and is one of the "extra" gaits used by 5-Gaited saddlebred show horses. But not only that, when Leslie was saying how people are intimidated by the animated gaits of "the 5-Gaited" horses.... uhhh... 3-Gaited saddlebreds are JUST as animated and high spirited. That's not exclusive to just 5-Gaited horses. How do I know this? I used to show 3-Gaited saddlebreds in my younger years. But as I said at the beginning - what you are doing to rescue these horses is very honorable, and I'm so happy that you are doing it.

It would be interesting to invent some type of belt sander to trim the hooves. We have the angle grinder and the snips and the files etc. but it seems to me using a best sander would some industrial strength sand paper would make a nice flat surface. The ideal situation would be to raise the animal up in the air using a contraption similar to an car engine lift, then place the hoof on the best sander. I am not a farrier and this might already be available and might not work but my mind is always thinking of ways to build a better mouse trap. I have no idea if it would be better.

Lot of bullshit to me. Balance. What is balance. A level foot nicely trimmed in proportion to the horse hoof .Tut Tut making it sound like you have to be a professor to shoe or plate a racehorse.any good farrier in shoeing race horses of class knows there job.
