I often had to assert my right to record, usually with cops. Sometimes with others--victims' loved ones, neighbors, security guards, bouncers, etc.

Just stumbled upon this video. Cool to watch how video journalists worked back then, and I guess it's pretty much the same today except the equipment is smaller and and more handy. Is this shot on Betacam?

These videos were shot primarily with the DXC-325, Sony's industrial Hi8 camcorder; but also using various other Sony 3-chip Hi8 consumer camcorders.

I was there!! I actually found your video searching for lollapalooza videos from 1992 in Miami. My husband and I went to go see Ministry, Gary Numan, and Front Line Assembly at Harrah’s resort and casino in Cherokee, NC. They were just as great today as they were back then. I only went to the first 4 lollapalooza’s. Beastie Boys being the last. It went to total shit after that. Just saw this year‘s lineup, I don’t even know who 99% of these bands are. Complete garbage and definitely isn’t the genres that started at all. We were really lucky to see all of these amazing artists back then, not to mention the music itself. I feel sorry for kids today. They don’t have a clue what they missed 😂

Joe was absolutely faceless...had to give up as he was too drunk and coked to play guitar...I saw him in Darwin about 1985 and he was pissed and slugging away on a bottle of Jack Daniels for the whole concert. It was the most awesome power rock guitar I have ever seen live, but he was'nt as out of it as in this film clip.
