小生下道のドライブが好きです。ここはスリルがありとても面白いコースです。この歳でも(後期高齢者)になりましたが実家への往復には通ります。変化にとみ飽きないです。

Have studied the lap once more, and compared it to the Corvette Z06 lap 7.22,68. The Nissan lap is actually appr. 1 second faster, so Nissans claim of 7.21 something is actually valid.

Turbo lag has nothing to do with straight line acceleration since on straight under hard acceleration turbo is spinning all the time. On track when entering corner turbo spools down. Now when exiting corner the power is not exactly there when needed and then theres suddenly too much power. The bigger the turbos the bigger the problem - and those AMS turbos are pretty big to get triple the power. Check the car and driver AMS aplha omega review and you can see what I'm talking about.

I really like Corvettes. Loads of respect and they are fast as hell but Vette' fanboys are the stupidest bunch of hater-ass dumbshits in the automotive world. GTR is an amazing car. Worthy of any car fan's respect.

Because the clock stops before the finish line, and you never see the start either. It is actually just a little weird, and the laptime is probably around 7.23 somewhere. So thats why Nissan still use 7.24,22 as official record and probably targets a sub 7.20 lap in the spring for the 2013 model GT-R.

Thats not the point, point is that spoiler helps the car go through corners a lot faster but nerfs the acceleration and speed on straights. AMS GT-R is built for quarter mile time and straight line speeds not for track.
