After the show was over and the crowd was starting to file out - members of the Lumineers came back out on stage just to sit and look at the size of the crowd they had just delivered a killer show to. I've never seen a musical artist do that before. It was like they were in awe of what they had just done - packing a major stadium in a city they had been struggling artists in only 11 years before.

This song first appeared in my Spotify discover weekly playlist. It stuck out at the time but didn't fully register. Then a few weeks later I heard it playing at a veterinary clinic. I went back and added to my primary playlist. Now I'm hooked and exploring his discography. What an artist! I like the rawness of this performance, inclined to believe this really is the first or one of the first times they've played it live. Very cool!

Amid life's challenges, sometimes simple and beautiful things happen to bring you back to yourself. Music, this music, this wonderful band of brothers, grounds me. I listen every day, watch the videos, morning and then at night. Appaloosa Bones is such a wonderful continuation of this beautiful music. So well thought out and carefully put together. Amos played Violin a few days after this in Eau Claire, WI. He did a much longer segment of something between opera and chanting. It was absolutely incredible. I hope it ends up on YT soon. Amos with a guitar is a portal to a different, more beautiful world. Thanks for posting this.
