Im a huge fan of your music, especially your work on Armour II. I always listen to your music when I paint and was wondering if I could ask you some questions about your creative proccess.

@@kinseylloyd Sorry I took so long, I didnt know if you would respond. Would youtube comments be the best place to communicate or would you pefer to use a different method? I guess my first question is about the quantity of projects youve made in the last couple years. I know it is very common for artists to not be very proud of the way their art can turn out. I wouldn't describe myself as more than an amateur in any form of art but I know I feel this very strongly. I was curious as to how this affects your creative proccess. You have several complete rpojects from the last years alone. Do you realease most of the music you work on, or is there a significant backlog of things you dont fully want out there?

@@dominicnovelli4533 this is an awesome question, thank you for asking. I have a tendancy to downplay and perhaps undermine my releases because I realise I'm a WIP and I also have a sharp taste in art and detecting the subtler qualities. Though having said this, I do not have any half baked projects on the back burner. I start projects loosely, typically a bunch of sample material and poems that I have channeled within a certain time period. There will come a point where I begin to meditate over the marvelous sounds and rhythms that are beginning to revolve around me and it's here that something often takes shape and it becomes somewhat of a self fulfilling prophecy. It becomes a concentrated period of obsession.

There are odd beats and poems that feel forced and I quickly realise this and recharge. Step away, live life, reinvigorate. In full honesty I view my bandcamp as my sketchpad. It's somewhat slapdash, but I like the raw shit. There'll come a time for more carefully considered and polished creations. I hope this answers your question and gives way to some clarity for you. Happy to answer any other questions. Peace

@@kinseylloyd Thanks for the response! I tend to have similar difficulties with being able to create, it often feels like I have to wait for the moment to be right. I think there is a dichotomy between the drive to create and a fear that I am making art for the simple sake of being "productive." I feel that art is one of the only activities that I can engage in that lets me distance myself from a culture fully obsessed with being productive. It is a horroble feeling to raliuze I feel compelled to engage in something I love becasue of social pressures to be productive. I also wanted to ask about your collaboration with Blackhaine if thats cool
