Hey awesome video, just a quick question: let's alpha to the C=O is a phenyl and a 2° carbon (technically 3°), from the migration priority list, these two are equal, would that reaction result in a mixture of both possible products?

Hint: When you draw an alpha you go down with your pen (so if its alpha the OH on the first C will go up) and for beta your pen will go up by writing the letter ☺ thank me later THIS WILL ONLY WORK FOR D SUGARS

In class I've heard a saying that helped me memorize: HAAKTEAM (H - halogens, A - Anhydrides, A - Aldehydes, K - Ketons, T - Thioesters, E - Esters, A- Amids, M - Carboxylic acids. The last letter is kind of useless, but it helped me to know im missing one more)
