And now it's a standard trick, everyone is learning them
@yamahakid450f3 жыл бұрын
3-4 people in the world doing them constantly isn’t standard... a regular flip is standard, not a double. I can do singles in my sleep, I’m scared to death trying it on a 110 off the quarter pipe into the foam pit. Quarter is strange tO send sideways into the pit, but you get a better snap off the top than a super kicker set up at 45ft.

James was low key owning this track; nose wheelies into the corners pinned. his bike control on a 2 stroke is unmatched

Stewart is finished as a champion, he got lucky that year or two after Carmichael retired and all the top riders were still in the lites class. Once Dungey and Villopoto moved to the 450 class, he was finished. Was very exciting to watch, but he is washed up now.

I like him it's just more crowded with younger guys

Did you watch any supercross this past season? Or have you watched any of the motocross races so far? He's on a three moto win streak in motocross, and won races just this last season in supercross. Not only did he win, but many weekends that he didn't win he still had the fastest lap of anyone on the track. The guy might not take the risks he used to, or ride above the limit all the time, but to say he's washed up is false. I am a die-hard Ryan Villopoto fan, but you cannot deny the skills that James Stewart has on a dirt bike. In my opinion, he is still the fastest rider on the face of the earth. Not the best, but the fastest. The best riders are the ones who can be fast enough to consistently win races and piece together championships. James has failed to do that for the later part of his career due to injury and inconsistency. But I mean come on, give credit where it is due. This man invented(or atleast applied and made commonplace) a riding technique that is now a necessity to even be competitive in both amateur and professional races. James Stewart is a living legend and an all-time great in the sport of motocross.
@enacku10 жыл бұрын
Stewart is great to watch because he can really compete with the best riders and smoke them on any given day and will take chances, but that can also be his downfall. It seems he has matured lately. If I remember didn't Chad Reed beat him for the supercross title a few years back? Chad was older too but very consistent. Maybe James had found a good balance now plus villopoto is injured because Stewart kept block passing him and blocking him like a douche when I think Ryan would have won and got the 1 million dollars.
@greenbuffalo285410 жыл бұрын
No villopoto is out because he got surgery on an old knee injury. Nothing to do with Stewart. And Stewart was injured for part of the season in 2008, which is why chad reed won the championship. Not to hate on chad either, because he's also an all time great, but the two championships he won in supercross were due to the title favorites being out. You're referring to the monster energy cup, that was quite some time ago. And block passes? That's racing.
